Recent heel obsessions
I never used to be pulled towards heels when shopping but recently when i get a new pair it makes me feel so much better and I just want to wear them around the house all day!
Embracing the 70's i brought these the other day from Miss.Selfridge
£46 but I managed to get 20% student discount
Giuseppe Zanotti has some AMAZING leopard wedges with a HUGE heel would love them!

Ive also been looking at some black wedges as I feel wedges would be so much comfier although the height of these Acne ones might say otherwise

Looks for Spring
Even though it is still freezing outside the catwalks have been making us crave Summer with the trends they have been putting out there..I can not actually wait to put on flip-flops, a pair of aviator ray-bans and summer dresses. You do not have to worry about layering or wearing a jacket every time you leave the house!
The main trend appears to be colour blocking as seen at Jil Sander, Gucci and Sonia Rykiel with strong emphasis on bright orange.
Jil Sander

Asos Palazzo pants £40 love the colour of these

The 70's also makes a comeback think high waisted flares, floppy hats, floaty dresses and block heels.

I am unsure whether to embrace the 70's trend with the flares as you always have to wear heels with them but a couple at Topshop have caught my eye

Well when I decided to try and do my own blog I decided to research others and it started with Ashley Madawke who has every outfit I want and I am incredibly jealous of her bag and shoe collection!

http://ashley-ringmybell.blogspot.com/
After looking at hers most days I wanted some more imspiration so moved on to some other blogs
I would say my favourite is fashiontoast although I love them all!

She also has the ombre hair I would lovee but don't think brown at the top would suit me at all!
http://www.fashiontoast.com/
This next blogger Sandra puts together an outfit which no matter how many things clash always seem to work. She also lives in London which is inspiring as it is nearer to me than California. I wish I had the guts to wear some of the stuff but I can imagine the looks in Swansea

http://5inchandup.blogspot.com/
These blogs also made me covet a certain pair of Jeffrey Campbell Litas and I would love a pair in black or tan but the shippig from America is out of my reach at the moment!

Karla's closet also seems to have every pair of designger shoes you could want...I don't think she wears a pair which aren't designer from Jimmy Choo to Lanvin platforms to YSL and Prada

nude heels
Nude heels go with almost every outfit so I am duying for a pair but can not seem to find any on the high street. Louboutins would be my first choice but seeing as I am a student this is impossible.I need to have a look for some good quality but cheapish ones.
However I managed to find these Aldo nude shoes which are peep toe and have a slight platform for £70 I
think Ill tell myself no one will know the difference!

fashion crushes
I have quite a mix of fashion icons at the moment and they don't all have the same styles! My first one is Olivia Palermo even if she is a bit of a bitch on the City. She never has a hair out of place and her outfits are always the best mix of designer and high street. She is regularly seen in Topshop mixed with either DVF or Valentino.
My last style crush is Louise Roe. She used to work at U.K Elle trying on different fashion trends each week and has a small role in the City with Olivia and Erin as a potential face of Elle.com. She has a similar style to Olivia but encourags British designers and has more of a London feel.
My next one is Sienna Miller since she started the Boho trend then i think she deserves a mention. She can just roll out of bed throw on jeans and a t-shirt and still look good! It might help that she is a good friend of Mathew Williamson. Also in love with her and her sister Savannahs twenty8twelve collection.

Drew Barrymore's hair
From being a little innocent girl in E.T to a sexy Charlies Angel Drew Barrymore has come full circle. Her recent promotional tour for going the distance has seen her looking the best yet and I am SO jealous of her hair! I am booking an appointment now to get my hair dyed the same. Lauren Conrad has had the same style for a while but I have to say I prefer it on Drew. The colour is called balayage where the stylist begins the blonde from about halfway down the head and uses a brush to sweep through with colour. It also stops the anticipation of dreaded root growth which I have right now!
